Organic Skincare Centre's Super New E-commerce Website
The Brief
With over 20 years' experience as a professional skincare therapist, Haylie Winter has transformed the skin of hundreds of clients from all over the world from her Eden Skincare Treatment Rooms in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, near Ripon, York and Leeds. Haylie's clients come to see her from all over Yorkshire.
Haylie came to us with an old WordPress Website which another company created for her (some years previously) who had since gone out of business. The web design was OK, but the whole install was seriously in need of updating and plenty of modernisation. It needed a Web Design Upgrade and some TLC.
Our Approach
Our first job was to locate and gain control of the domain name and the website itself which had became inaccessible when the old Harrogate web design agency folded and closed their business. This done, we quickly set about migrating the old install onto our own servers so we could work behind a "Coming Soon" screen.
We worked closely with Hayley to develop the website's navigation system and site layout: simplifying access to each element of service she provides, adding Calls To Action (CTA) and highlighting Testimonials (Social Proof) and her all-important contact details. We also worked on the website's global SEO re-writing key passages of text where necessary so the new website featured highly in Google's Search Engine Results Page (SERP) under the search term "Skin Care Harrogate" among others, once the new site was launched.
The Result
Haylie reports a vast increase in "walk-ins" and new bookings generated by increased visibility the new website privides. When people Google for her services her website is right there waiting!
