New year, new website…

People are always saying they like what we do with our clients’ websites. It’s great hear as we spend a lot of time getting that subtle balance of styling, usability and functionality  just right.

Problem is, we’re so busy looking after our clients that (sometimes) our own stuff gets neglected. Last month one kind soul mentioned our website was looking a bit out-of-date. We took a good look. He was right! So, this Christmas holiday, with the world in festive mode, we grabbed a plate of mince pies (plus the rest of the turkey sandwiches) and crept back to our laptops…

We’re really pleased with how it’s turned out. CODENAME A2K12, our new website is focused on usability (the Big U). Nobody’s got time for ungainly navigation anymore! We wanted people to be able to find their way round easily with a minimum of fuss. We added a nice big clickable slideshow, right there on the home page, to showcase NEW services like emarketing and mobile browser web design alongside our old friends ecommerce and cms website development both of which we’re taking to a new level this year. We’ve also grown our our client support service.

Yes, a labour of love. Filling the portfolios was the only easy bit because we had lots of really great stuff to choose from. So much that most of our services categories have now got their own portfolios. Click on the magnifying glass icon to zoom-in. Click on the icon next to it to read more about each individual project.

We’ve two new client sites scheduled for publication this month. The first is a new CMS we’re developing Harrogate photographers SiRAstudio. The second one is for Harrogate Counselling Services (HCS). Watch this space…

We’ll be using this “aublog” section to keep you updated on things we think you’d like to hear about. We don’t think you’ll reading anything about Big Brother or X Factor here though. Then again…

Our Masterplan for 2012? We’ve quite a few new projects in the pipeline, including new work for existing clients. Last year was a good year for us. We feel this year will be absolutely full-on!
